While exploring the streets of Britanny, France, on a school trip, I saw, from the corner of my eye, a beauty of a car. The Nissan R-34 Skyline has been one of my favorite cars ever since I was little. I had never seen one in person up until this moment. I was able to capture the car as it was leaving. I was in so much awe when I caught a glimpse of this car.
While visiting the south of France with my family over the Summer of 2025, we took a day trip to Monaco to go sightseeing. I was more than excited to visit this place, mainly because of my love for cars. While this Porsche was nowhere near the coolest car in the area, I was still very excited to see it. I love teeing classic Porsches, especially the chance to capture one. Among all of the other cars, this one definitely stood out.
Also, while visiting the South of France, across from the Island we were staying on was another very historical island called Saint-Tropez. As we got off the ferry to get to the Island, I was immediately struck by the beauty of this McLaren. I chose this photo mainly because of the scenery. The car, just sitting there, looking unattended, with the yachts in the background, perfectly completes a beautiful composition. After playing around in Photoshop and adding the vignette, I had to incorporate this photo.
This photo was also shot in Monaco, but at a different location. This was at the Private Cars Collection of the HSH Prince of Monaco Museum. As our tour was coming to an end, we stumbled upon the racing section of the museum. This Porsche was raced in the 24H of Le Mans, not that exact car, but the same model. Considering the uniqueness of this car and my love for Porsches. I took about fifty shots, but chose my favorite angle, trying to incorporate the entire car in the frame.
In the summer of 2023, my family and I were in Cyprus visiting my Dad's college friend and their family, who now live there. Before we drove to their house out in the countryside of Cyprus, we were staying at a resort in Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus. I captured this shot of the Porsche 911 Carrera the night before we left, in the resort's parking lot. My favorite element of this photo is the light reflecting off the car and the LEDs in the background.
In addition to the Porsche shot at the Monaco museum, I also captured this stunning, perfect condition black Lamborghini Countach. I had no prior knowledge of which cars would be displayed because the museum mixes them up due to the number of vehicles, and cannot display them all at once. The title behind this photo was inspired by the word "Periscopio," which refers to the earliest model of the Lamborghini Countach LP400, distinguished by a unique roof-mounted channel (the "periscope") for its rearview mirror, a feature phased out in later models.
The same night I shot "How Low Can You Go?", I shot this photo. Of all my car photography, this is by far my proudest shot. One of the sons of the father who went to college with my dad is also very into cars. He gave me some tips and tricks and helped me produce this awesome photo. I love this photo for so many reasons that I can't say them all. I love this photo so much for its context and the many elements incorporated in it.
During my school trip to France for my French class, we visited Normandy. On the way back from visiting the beach on the anniversary of D-Day, I saw these two beautiful black Porsches. It felt like seeing something straight out of a movie scene. I loved the mysterious vibe that the cars gave off. The simplicity of the house and the greens in the background make the composition a hundred times better.

I captured this shot outside in my backyard during the springtime. I needed just one more shot for my shutter assignment. I decided to give this a try. I love the crystal clarity of the iced tea and the sunlight reflecting off the can, showing the Arizona Tea logo. Overall, I believe this is a great shot, especially for composition.

While experimenting with different shutter speeds over a couple of weeks, I struggled to decide which subject to use for ghosting. I thought I was going to have to set up an entire scene and do a lot of preparation. But when my friend Petros came into my learning center class, I realized I could get a great photo with little to no preparation. I asked him to stay still for a couple of seconds, then move. Capturing my favorite ghosting photo ever.

I was outside of school in the garden, looking around, trying to get good photos for Zoom burst. I saw this cone and decided to give it a shot. I did not think that this would work out at all, but shot it anyway. It took me about 50 tries to get the perfect zoom burst because I could not get the cone to focus. I chose this photo mainly because it won best of show, but also because it was super cool; it was made from only a traffic cone and a quick zoom-in and zoom-out motion.

I wanted to take a great photo of my dog to submit for the "animal" prompt in my aperture assignment. It felt like every photo of my dog I took wasn't good enough, and I felt like I could do better. While outside helping my Dad with yard work, I came up with the perfect photo idea. Simultaneously being simple, yet complex.

While cruising over Thanksgiving Break with my family, I decided to wait until I was on the cruise ship to turn in my assignment because I had left a couple of days before the deadline. I wanted to give shooting on the boat a try to change the scenery for my project. On the second day of the cruise, I shot this photo. I was astonished by how vibrant the ocean's colors were. This is mainly for the beauty of the colors, but also because it is such a good shot that it should not be left out for people to see.

Around the end of October, my photography class spent some time walking along our school's cross-country trail in the woods. The nature around us was so pretty because it was right around that time of Fall when all the leaves and trees are filled with vibrant colors. I found this leaf on the trail as I was walking. As I picked it up, I noticed the water droplets sitting so perfectly on the leaf. I carefully placed the leaf on a log and captured the water's clarity so perfectly while still incorporating the leaf. I love that this photo is simple yet complex.
